The University of Nevada, Athletic Department is recruiting for three (3) Account Manager & Donor Services positions and one Director of Group Sales in our Ticketing Sales Department. The Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) ticketing sales staff are responsible for building and strengthening customer relations, customer acquisition, and maximizing ticket sales and donations. Positions establish, maintain and enrich customer relations through managing daily inbound calls, email communication, online chat communication, and in-person meetings. Positions contribute to outbound sales effort as needed to maximize revenue, execute sales strategies and cultivate relationships. All ticketing sales staff are responsible for specific donor and season ticketholder accounts as it relates to customer service and sales. Both positions are commissioned sales positions.
The Account Manager & Donor Services has the sole responsibility of selling tickets for ICA events to existing and new customers. The primary focus is on season ticket sales with secondary emphasis on mini-plan sales and group sales. The position is responsible for selling any and all ICA inventory as assigned by senior management.
The Director of Group Sales primary responsibilities are to generate group ticket sales by effectively marketing and selling tickets to groups via digital, print, telephone, and in person meetings. Generate new group sales by targeting and developing relationships with organizations within the Northern Nevada region. Organizations include, but are not limited to corporate entities, local schools, non-profit and profit associations, and local affinity groups. This position follows up with group leaders regarding customer service, and establishes longstanding relationships resulting in annual group events. The position helps develop a yearly group sales plan that includes targeted lead lists, timelines, and new innovative strategies to drive group sales. The Director of Group Sales is responsible for the fulfillment of any group leader gifts, events or incentives and has oversight over football tailgates.
Master's Degree and no related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and one year of related work experience; OR an Associate's Degree and two years of related work experience; OR High School Graduation and three years of related work experience.
Related Experience: in any of the following areas-athletics administration, ticketing, sales, marketing, and/or customer service.
